Intuition: Your Hidden, Natural Genius
One of the reasons the Life-Coaching process is
so effective is because the work I do with clients
is targeting at getting the answers they need from
inside themselves.
Here’s why that’s awesome:
“Brain researchers estimate that your unconscious
database outweighs the conscious on an order exceeding
ten million to one. This database is the source of
your hidden, natural genius. In other words, a part of
you is much smarter than you are. The wise people
regularly consult that smarter part.” – Michael J. Gelb
This weeks Vlog discusses how to tap into this smarter
part of you by listening to and developing your intuition.

As a coach, I’m trained to ask the right questions to tap
into this “smarter” part of you in order to mine that gold that’s
buried in there.
It can be such a challenge for us to access that unconscious
part of ourselves on our own- but it CAN be done.
The reason our unconscious (or subconscious) feels
so inaccessible to us sometimes is because, for most of
us, our early education and programming focused on
looking outside of ourselves for the answers to our
questions. So we constantly find ourselves asking
friends, family members, spouses, co-workers, “What
do you think I should do?”
The problem with this is that your best answer to that question
comes from YOU – from that smarter part of you that is your “hidden,
natural genius.”
One of the ways in which that smarter part of ourselves tries
to speak to us is through our intuition.
Everyone has intuition – everyone. It’s not some cool power
saved just for the really special people. It’s in each and
every one of us, and is one of the most underutilized tools
we have for success and happiness.
Intuition is just like a muscle – it becomes stronger, the more
you use it.
I want to challenge you this week to work on that.
Start to develop your intuition by quieting your mind, paying
attention to your inner voice, learning to trust your gut feelings and following your inner guidance. You’ll be amazed at what can
happen.
